Very nice. I thought I was reading the random photo thread (I lose track easily, the perils of age) and I was about to suggest they deserved their own thread :)

i'm still getting to grips with the scanner (am utterly useless when it comes to RTFM), so some of those were scanned in 'wet' mode rather than 'dry' mode (i.e. where the scanner is expecting the images to have been attached to the glass with scanning solution, rather than using the film holders.

Good stuff. Did the bird put up much of a fight?

    What scanner are you using?

partly due to last year having been comprised of selling and moving out of the house, a month later getting married, renting, and then buying a new place and moving in five or six months later. kept me kinda busy...
but they do say that getting married and moving house are the most stressful events in your life. we just decided to telescope it all into an seven month period.

unfortunately, the above has also left me with very little time for photography, let alone scanning.

What is the advantage of film scanning??

My question comes from the fact that the digital photos seem of equal quality (to my untrained eye) as the first set.

To be fair, it looks safer and more cleaner than most HSE buildings

there's a different look to the digital ones (albeit one you could probably simulate in photoshop), but the advantage of shooting in film is that you work at a different pace, and in a different way - which i find more enjoyable.
