BMW E46 325 Ci reversing light and sensor problems

    Hi,

    all of a sudden both reversing lights and the rear parking sensors stopped working on my E46 325 Ci. I haven't had a chance to change the bulbs yet, but I presume this is much more likely to be some sort of electrical fault than a bulb problem. Anyone experienced this before and would I be better off heading to an auto electrician rather than my usual mechanic?

    Sounds like your reverse light switch may be gone. €10 from a breakers.

    My plate light went i checked fuses bulbs and nothing was gone until i found a break on a wire in the trunking in the boot an easy enough fix.
