    hi Folks,

just a quick query. A lad has taken some land for 11 months starting last March, but has not paid yet. Is it normal to pay upfront or when?

it should have been set out before renting however. there doesnt seem to be a norm. some land i take is charged up front and some split in 2 payments, half in march and half in sep. Your best bet is just approach him and set down the dates that suit you.

I pay for most of mine, half 1st of May half 1st of September. Few bits up front and a small bit every few years :D
