According to the news in the last 12 months crime has fallen in every category? I really doubt that's the truth? They say even burglaries have fallen, I think people in Ireland are just not reporting crime anymore?

Me thinks these figures have been massaged a bit?

I think they are doing it to cover up the lack of gardai.

Crime may of fallen but I do think its a combination of things going unreported, and less gardai catching things in the act.

Can you not enjoy some good news instead of making baseless claims that the news is wrong

    Duplicate threads are a crime.

    Define "crime"?

They can either define it as crimes reported to the Gardaí, crimes the Gardaí have recorded, crimes the Gardaí have referred to the DPP for prosecution. There are so many ways you can manipulate that phrase.

Despite what most people seem to think, most crimes are at or approaching their lowest point for many decades. The world is in fact a safer place than its ever been, probably at any point in history.

But good news doesn't sell newspapers.
