My boss is going to Chester for a stag this afternoon lads, nice if I could give him one to shout home. Anyone looked at the Chester card and found something interesting? Would do it myself only I'm out of practice and I don't recognise many of the horses :p

Richard fahy rarely goes away empty handed and i like the look of heskin in the first.

I'm on Majestic Moon in the last @ Chester.

There's a lovely bred filly making he debut in the 4.45 @ Donny today. By Galileo out of the classy Ouija Board. May need the run today, market will speak volumes, watch for the money. I got 10/1 this morning, she's into 15/2 just now.

nice low draw for her too.

Nulty, advising your boss to avoid the outside stalls would be the best (only?) advice I'd give. Narrows the fields for him, and you'll be able to give it the old "hope you listened to me" line regardless of who he backs :D

He'll be too drunk to be studying any form.

Tell him to stick to small stakes and only bet on horses ridden by Lester Piggott.

I thought Baytown Kestrel was the bet of the day in the 2.40 Musselburgh, cannot understand why Ellisons is favourite. I have left it alone though, as I can never catch Ellisons yard right. If its his money, it wins.

Snow in the first at Curragh is supposedly Ballydoyles top 2yo, and obviously the market speaks volumes, had a wee interest. Shes beautifully bred.

I think Polar Kite in the 6.50 at Chester should go close. Has form around the course. Most of his best form is in single figure fields, only 8 runners tonight. Decent claiming jock on board this evening. Worth an each way poke at 7/1 imo.

When Ellisons own money is down, its like finding it on the floor. Glad I stayed away anyway.

3yo filly, suggests Australia a 2yo of the same breeding entered by the coolmore team over the weekend, may need time

    7:45 Newcastle

Confessional is one I’ve been expecting to win shortly. He hasn’t had the best of runs last twice, but I expect him to be well capable of winning of his current mark, and will be backing him at decent odds until he does. This race has a weak enough looks about it and the 11 available on Betfair looks very decent value.

    2 Points win 11 Betfair

I’m also going with Captain Dunne at a very big looking 23 on Betfair, as although he wasn’t great last time out if everything goes right for him here he is well capable of never getting caught of this mark..

    1 Point win 23 Betfair

Would be a little concerned about Ouija Boards ability as a broodmare not entirely convinced about Cape Cross as a broodmare sire but i would like to be proven wrong
