    Hey all,

So in recent months I've started to noticed that my level's of excited and motivation for things have diminished...

I've been on a weeks holidays and i'll I've done is worry about having to return to work, I'm also going to an event tomorrow night, which when I booked my tickets months back I was very excited about it, but I'm not all that excited about it now...

Seriously whats with the disappearance of my excitement...

There's a huge number of things that could be at play, it's hard to tell.

Are you sleeping ok? Are you under stress? Are you tired all the time? Are you eating properly? Any changes in drinking / smoking / drugs etc? I'm not getting at anything but without any details it's impossible to tell... It could be anything from physical to mental and everything in between. Can you tell us more?

I go through phases like that myself, just can't be bothered doing these things at all... no real cause, just burnout / tiredness / money hassles.

One of the signs of depression is not taking an interest in things that once would have normally excited/interested you. I am NOT making a diagnosis as I'm not a doctor but it would be no harm having a chat with your GP as they will know which questions to ask you in order to give you an accurate diagnosis.

Yep and they can also do blood tests etc to rule out anything physical that may be causing it too!
