Ricoh GR v Fujifilm x20

    Hey guys,

I've been pretty much exclusively shooting street photos for the last year and have gotten pissed off lugging around my 5DMKII, so looking for a compact alternative. I've basically narrowed it down to the Ricoh GR and the Fuji x20. From all reviews I seen/read everything points to the Ricoh with the only advantages of the Fuji being the super fast auto focus and the slightly lower price point (I don't mind no view finder and prefer the prime).

My slight worry is that in all the reviews I've looked at for the Ricoh are ridiculously positive. So positive in fact that I've almost convinced all these people were just paid by Ricoh/Pentax...or maybe I'm just being very cynical!

Anyone have any experience with either cam, or maybe suggest an alternative?

    Cheers,
    Barry

Ricoh GR looks like an amazing piece of kit for the price.
I think it's got the same sensor as the Pentax K5ii which can only mean good things.
Where are you looking buy it ?
I'm finding it difficult to buy online.
As for the X20 it's a lovely little camera but hard to justify the upgrade from the x10 for the price.
MInd you if you go here
