Tips for getting into a pub without ID?

So my Birthday was 2 weeks ago, 18 finally But My age card hasn't arrived yet. Taking way too long and have no ID other than Birth Cert and I don't trust myself not to lose it. Passport is out of date since I 2007 and I was only around 11/12 when I got it. Would explaning to the bouncer my situation be helpful? Buying it isn't my problem it's getting in initially.

just use the out of date passport most bouncers allow you to use it, just don't point out that its expired.

A mate of mine has yet to get an ID and hes 21 and his expired passport has always worked.

I'm sure you could have ordered your I'd card ages ago. I work in a shop that sells alcohol and anyone under 25 has to have Id , I'd imagine your gonna get same anywhere. And rightly so. There's a huge fine, ban for any business that serves a under 18 and the person that works there also gets done for aiding and abetting . If you get caught trying to get in without Id I'd imagine you'll get banned from place full stop. Get the I d card first
