Hey I hope I'm posting in the right section but I've a question.

I'm currently applying for graduate programmes and at one university I was considering applying for 2 courses however they're in the same department so is there any point in applying for the 2 of them, the courses aren't overly different from one another so would it look better to just apply to one?

No harm. They assess both applications to courses seperately. No harm having back up option. Demand and meeting requirements can vary between courses. If you have more of an interest for one stick with that one. Best luck.
