Engagement rings Dublin

Me and my boyfriend are looking at engagement rings at the moment does anyone have any recommendations around Dublin for jewellers .We have a budget of probably €3K and want to know if we will be able to get the best value :):)

I'd have a look online first and see if you know what you want / don't want. I think there is so much choice in rings wandering around looking will confuse you, I'd rather settle on what's important first i.e. is it a diamond you want or another stone? What metal, Gold /white gold /platinum etc . I know a few people who went for white gold because if they went platinum it reduced the price left for the stone so things like that will need to be thought about within the context of your budget.

That said, my ring was just pulled out of his pocket so I didn't have to worry about any of that!

Mine was delphi antiques but again that's quite personal- I know a lot of people who wouldn't want an antique. Looking at his stuff I would think if you want an unusual style ring an antique could be the way to go. I went to get it resized and need had a heart attack at the prices in the window but don't let that put you off, he seems to have a wide range (and mine was certainly not huge money)!

Thanks for your replies!! I have looked at Voltaires website but its got little information but the rings look amazing!!! I havent really considered an antique ring i think they would be lost on me

I got my ring a month ago and they said ut would take a month to make but we asked cud they do it in 3 weeks and they did just depends i suppose they also have rings you can buy up there but i suppose its all about budget:-) i absolutely love my ring the detail is something else. Happy shopping:-)

super that's great to hear they managed to do it sooner for you. are you delighted with the end result? some people have said that you need a budget of at least 5k or more to get anything nice. did you have this same experience?

thats great value! I think its all so specific as to what you want to put the money into! Glad you found it all such a good experience. I have gotten some great quotes from stores in town and to be honest not an awful difference to voltaire but will see what happens!

Exactly it's what ever style you want but the ring i wanted they only had in voltaire and it was either go with them or get it made somewhere else.
