Hi. Got a Giant Rapid 1 November 2012. Noticed a small bubble in paintwork on underside of frame in Dec '12 about the size of 1 cent piece. Laquer intact. Now this has spread along the bar. Has anyone ever experienced this on a new Giant Rapid? I would appreciate any help. New to cycling and the forum. Thanks

Most bike companies have a lifetime guarantee on their frames, best to bring it back to where you bought it and let them have a look. I once had a Ridgeback bike that developed a crack in the frame, brought it back and had it replaced no problem.

Bought a Giant Rapid 3 the exact same time and no such problem. Would definitely bring it back.

Have my Rapid 4 three years. No such problems.
I'd bring it back to the shop for a look. If the bubble pops the paint work might start cracking around the popped area.
