Boxnation announced today they are now working with Hatton, Maloney, Mcguigan and Khan promotions with all them fighters together thats a damn fine list of fighters on the channel should improve their domestic content, Also Mayweather Alavarez is on Boxnation delighted i feared it was going to be ppv 20 euro job seriously you cant fault boxnation is fantastic value for money look at the names now fighting on the channel, also they show almost all the big international fights, Mayweather Broner, Canelo, Klitschko for a tenner a month thats great value, Boxnation has better fighters then Sky do what top fighters have Sky got besides Froch just mostly overrated hypejobs like Brook Barker Bellew ect sky will be fecked when all of these guys are found out at the top level

Thinking of subscribing even though I earn **** all. It seems to be a channel heading in the right direction.

Just waiting to see now what the story with BT/Setanta picking this up is. Dunno what I want them to do 20 quid a month extra would be alot

Yeah if you're only interested in boxing you'd be better off if they were a standalone subscription channel!
They have a new investor and they're going HD later in the year too.

They only thing that slightly disappoints me about the channel is the commentary feeds. They use a kind of secondary set of commentators on the American cards, i.e. not the main Showtime/HBO guys.
I've only seen the most recent fights so I'm not sure if that's always been the case.
It doesn't ruin the experience or anything but I like some of the main commentators, particularly on Showtime.

All in all, Boxnation have definitely stepped it up lately.

Also in Mcguigans interview with ifilm he mentioned that with the platform they have on boxnation he wants to sign some more irish fighters he said theres some of the olympic lads he has been looking at, Brillent news if true the lack of irish fighters on uk tv is a real shame it would be brillent if Mcguigan signed a few of the irish lads, also Hatton has Burnett and he was saying in their press conference that he wants to bring him to Belfast for the Frampton shows good news for irish boxing. I have to say at first i thought it was an awful move for Frampton to leave Hearn and bad for Irish boxing but if mcguigan is now going to be promoting their could well be some more irish guys been signed and on boxnation
