sx260 video playback pixellated etc

    so got a canon sx260 today. made a few seconds of video .

    It playback fine on the camera lcd screen

    on my laptop it plays but breaks into pixels, and .. not sure what the correct term is .. all colours mixed and large pixels like the saorview signal goes sometimes (sorry not the best description)

    the camera is a refurb - but i can only assume its recording video ok if its playing back ok on the camera?

    I am going to china in a week so need to determine asap if there is a problem
