Not too sure if they are still available, but I tried the S56 irons in the States and I absolutely loved them.

Played with the G25's the following week and they felt dead in comparison.

I play with Titleist AP2 712's at home, but was very very taken with the S56's...great penetrating flight, buttery soft feel yet both workable and forgiving at once..They say it is a low handicapper's club, but I felt they were very forgiving.

Like I say, not too sure they still make them now that the S57 is out there, but worth a look..

Just checked their website and the 56 is still being marketed by PING

I got a set a few weeks ago. I'm playing off 18. I've only played 4 games with them so far and struggled a little with them in the first couple of games but now I'm really getting to like them. The ball flights is so much straighter and lower than my previous irons. Will keep you updated on them but I expect they should have a very positive impact on my game.

Recently got a set of Mizuno JPX 825, which would be in the same game improvement area as the G25. Finding them great, easy to hit and very forgiving.
Might be something for you to consider
