Cracked frame...

    Hi all...

Was out for a spin today and i noticed the saddle slipping in the clamp... Didn't think much of it at the time and tightened it up to get me home.
On closer inspection though, the lug on the frame has snapped off rendering the bike unrideable :(

Before i get on to the dealer tomorrow, just wondering has anyone seen anything similar and what are my chances of getting a warranty/crash replacement?

Bike is 3yrs old and has done approx 5000k. Mainly TTs and TT training.

Also, i bought the bike in Galway but living in Tralee now. Will any Felt dealer take a look at it, or will I have to go back to where it was bought?

I had heard that felts had a known issue with seatposts cracking, Google throws up a lot of reports. Id be looking at warranty if at all possible if I were you.

Ya, Ive seen a few failures on other Felts alright :(

Hopefully its a known issue and there'll be no problems...

Really couldn't be worse timing though. Meant to be riding the county TTT tomorrow and a couple more big races the next few weeks
