    Hi,
I'm a little worried, I have started to see a few of these guys around the kitchen,
they seem to be feeding on crumbs.
    They can fly.

Also I have found some of them dead - which is my only hope they aren't roaches , but at this size - which is about the size of a sesame seed.
    I'm in Barcelona btw...

Not at all! A baby cockroach would be a grub. Without an indication of size, all I can say is that it's a beetle not some sort. Just put it out in the garden.

Agree with Srameen; it is a beetle.
There are several kitchen beetles that feed off scraps. Some are very small. if you google for images of "kitchen beetles" you can see lots of pictures.

I am again open to correction, but Cigarette or Tobacco Beetle - Lasioderma serricorne is a contender.
