Neither. I'd go for the cheaper higher clocked zotac 760. There's no benefit on the 4gb cards. I'd only consider more than 2gb if gaming at a res higher than 1080p and then you want multi cards ideally.

It's worth the extra money if noise is an issue. But you would have to check reviews to try to figure out which cooler is best for low noise. If noise is not a issue then go for the cheaper card.

As for 7950 vs 760, I don't think I could pick a winner it's too close to call performance will be just so close between the two.

Cool. I only chose the Gigabytes as a comparison cause they were from the same manufacturer. No other reason.

With performance and price so close Nvidia is the clear winner with better driver support, multi gpu performance and physx.

Actually the driver that you must use for 700 series cards are a disaster. Nvidia have acknowledged it and are working on a solution.

You won't be waiting months for a fix like you do with amd though. Still no crossfire latency fix after 6 months.

I think how much an individual values the never settle bundle also wades into the equation.

The prototype crossfire drivers have shown positive results and AMD have had another 3 months to get things right..

True, those bundles are drying up though.

The driver still isn't publicly available. I know there was a lot of work in redesigning their driver architecture but it's still 6 months waiting for a known issue. An issue that a 3rd party had to bring to amd's attention.

The never settle bundle was always something I considering but I think they would need to update it a bit. It's not inconceivable that you could those games for around 30 quid in a steam sale. If only Nvidia did game bundles.

As much as I like AMD I would probably go with the 760 unless you plan on gaming at above 1080p. In which case the 7950 is a winner.
