    Hello my name is Jonathan,

first, I really hope my little thread with this title wont get deleted, as i am sure aware that this sounds like a dodgy ad or something. I am following a certain concept though to do photography evolving around feet and, yes, feet of females only. Now, as I said, I know this might sound fake or just as a trick to get in touch with women, but I would like to assure you that my focus is on the PHOTOGRAPHY and that I am a trustworthy person. Also I am ready to forward you a description of my ideas and concepts on this, also will I introduce myself properly.

Please kindly let me know if you want to learn more and private message me and find further contacts in my profile here.

    cheers,

    Jon

Bone fides accepted but i'm puzzled.

Are you looking for photographer feet as in - this is a photographer inhabited forum - yes, both male and female, but generally you'll find people here are comfortable at the back of a camera than the front....

Just puzzled if you've landed in the right place.

If its feet you want, wouldn't just about anybody with feet do the trick?!? Friends and family?

    What am I missing...?

Well..you actually raise a very good point here and I actually bet you (subconsciously?) read it between the lines. Well..the truth is, here it comes: yes, feet have an erotic meaning for me. Thats why neither family nor close friends will work for me at all in this context. I know you will think I am joking but, honestly, giving a massage to my mothers feet would just feel like incest to me, I mean it.

So you lied in your op?

You're actually looking for people to fulfil your erotic pleasures?

If its really about the photography, and you are professional, please post links to your work

.. the thing simply is: I don't have any such photos, I mean photos taken by myself. It is actually the first time I've ever been posting such a request, because I never dared to do so earlier. Also I want to handle this discreet and find out together with the model if we share the same ideas/vision for such photos. To establish a first connection I would like to hear the models opinion about my concepts and see if we are on the same page. I believe this can't be done only through the forum. Thanks for asking by the way, another good point raised.

So you have a erotic foot fetish, and wish to photograph womens feet?

If I get an erotic pleasure from it or not, is not relevant for the model, as long as I am doing PHOTOS in the session and treating the model as model (and not a prostitute). I ask you, is a photographer who photographs nudes unprofessional, only because he has erotic thoughts in the back of his head ? Whats the point to any erotic artfull photography WITHOUT erotic fantasies.
What I want to do is: taking photos. And, maybe to your suprise, I consider myself as an amateur who is behaving "professionaly", thats how i'd rather define my attitude. So the bottomline is, I don't think its fair to call me a liar. ;-)

I think it is 100% relevant, yes

If I am photographing nude models, and am getting erotic please from it, then that is not really professional, and I would imagine it would make the model uncomfortable?!

Oh ok, I think I understand from where this misunderstanding derives. The thing is, I dont want to get any sexual pleasure from the photography session in itself, not from the act of photographing. If I would do the photo session for sexual pleasure, yes, thats would not be ok. I am interested in the result, the photos. And behaving professionally meant to me, that I hold back any emotions that are not relevant for a photo session while we shoot. Do you know the difference that I mean ? How about a heterosexual male photographer taking photos of nudes ? Is he disqualified to being professional only because he had sex with other woman, say, with his own wife at home ? Is every heterosexual man who could potentially enjoy the body of his model already doomed to being "unprofessional" when doing artful nude photography ? Well, I think no and my situation is no different to any professional erotic photographer.

Hi again OP. Are you in actuality asking anonymous strangers on here to participate in a pornographic fantasy? Sorry to be so direct. Blame the wine. You do seem to be divorcing your erotic fantasies from emotional connection...

But you have no merit or credentials, and no previous work to show... Yet you want complete strangers to engage in what you've admitted to be an erotic fantasy

From the sound of it, you are looking to photograph womens feet as part of an erotic fantasy, but at the same time are trying to persuade yourself that you are doing this as part of some legit operation.

You have not even broached the subject on getting said models to sign release forms to allow you to use the photographs on fetish porn sites.

Instead of looking for womens feet, and then seeing if they're into your kink, that you should maybe look into women into the kink of body worship and see if they'd want their feet photographed?

For what its worth, you're wasting your time looking for models on this particular forum anyway. Its a photography forum used primarily by photographers, not models.

You could set up something like a model mayhem profile. However you typically need some existing work before any model would consider working with you. Do you have any experience photographing models in any capacity, not just feet? If so, I'd suggest starting with the basics. You're not going to achieve the results you think you are unless you have some experience behind you.

Also I would recommend being absolutely upfront and honest about your intentions with these photographs when approaching any models. You shouldn't even need to state that the photographic session will not be an erotic experience as thats a given. Most models will be accompanied by a chaperone anyway. But be upfront and let them know you're shooting this to appeal to the foot fetish audience. If they're into it they should be able to work with you and help you get the results you want. And if they're not into it then thats fine too, at least nobodies been led on or had their time wasted.

    Hope thats of some help.

    Hello guys,

I'd like to take your commens on board , its very helpful to see what thoughts and worries this kind of notice raises and it will all help me to set the right expectations towards the person I meet for the session. I also agree that making photos of such kind is indeed walking the line between arts and selfsatisfaction. Allow me just to point out one more thing: I think someone who never even took one photo in their lives can potentially run a "professional" photo session. Sure, you need to take into consideration factors as lights, exposure, ISO , use of lenses and what you get. But I hardly ever see anyone raising questions like: Do you have the softskills to establish a personal connection to your model ? Are you able to create an atmosphere that is suitable for the photosession and make the model "feel"-good with what she/he is doing ? Are you able to make your model understand, what the scene is about ? I really HATE it, when the photgrapher goes: Turn your head to the left, now look "sad". Or "put on a smile, stronger, a bit more". That taking photos with no meaning. Make up, lights and all perfect, but the model could as well be a dead body ! For me photography is all about catching a moment that is filled with emotions, and if the lights are no good or if its a bit blurry here and there - who gives a sh* ! (I know I put it a bit into extrem words, but thats only to point out my idea)

No. No they can't. Its absolutely delusional to think anything otherwise.

You're absolutely right that a connection with a model is very important and equally important is being able to communicate what you want from a photo to your model. But thats happens AFTER you're very experienced with your camera, lights and all other technicalities. You no longer need to put all your concentration into the tech side of things because its second nature to you. Then you can focus on the personal side of it and create a friendly professional working atmosphere.

What you're saying is the equivelant of a band claiming once they have a really good solid understanding of the music business, a good manager and know the right people then they stand a really good chance of making it.....before they've learnt to play any of their instruments.

What I'm trying to say is all these things are important, very important in fact....but at the same time they're also useless if you don't know the basics.

Well..... that did work for boyzone....

Not sure if that's a good example though.

Actually... they were a terrible example!

Who'd want to be the creative equivalent of boyzone?!? In any field...

You mean...aiming to try to do a job in a particular field without any skills, talent or experience needed to do it....surely it would be crazy to attempt such a thing.
