can I get date & time on photographs?

Can I? I have a Nikon & on the screen it shows the date & time. Went in to get photos developed today & was told I cant get the date & time printed on them, front or back?

I have defo seen them printed on photos before.....

That's usually a setting in the camera, not a print option...


Why do you want that anyway? Unless it's photos of an accident or crime scene?

but lv seen them on other photos before, maybe one of those disposable ones? might need them for court

Yes, you can include a date and time stamp on a photo - it's just a setting in the camera. Not sure about adding it after the photo was taken though...

You can add the date and time with software afterwards anyway (http://www.irfanview.com/ - add text timestamp), so it's not really proof of anything, just a guide for easy reference.
