Peugeot 407 Bluetooth fail after using ODB2 reader

    Hey,
I have a 2006 end 407 2.0HDi. It has a RD4 unit with Bluetooth handsfree. The handsfree worked perfectly till a couple of weeks ago.
I had bought a cheap Bluetooth ODB2 reader and I used that with my Android phone. It worked fine a couple of times with the reader but it dropped connection once and now the Bluetooth handsfree refuses to work. I also noticed all my Radio presets had been jumbled up!

So the whole radio/CD/CD Changer/MP3 setup works. The Handsfree does not connect to my current phone. I have tried a couple more phones and I cannot even see the "407" Bluetooth network to connect to.
I have removed the Fuse for the Handsfree kit and the MFD.
When I press the TEL key on the RD$ I can go to the next menu, but the Consultations of pairings, or the other two options dont actually work. They come up but I can't go in.

Can anyone tell me if there is anything I can look at here? I really dont want to take it to Pug and get charged £90 to just tell me some nonsense.

All the help is greatly appreciated. I have seen there is a lot of help regarding Pug problems here!! Cheers

Tbh I can't see why an obd code reader would cause this problem but you do mention its Bluetooth codes reader...

If you know someone with Peugeot diagnostics then they could scan your Rd4 unit for faults and maybe reconfigure if need be....Its the first place to start.

Heres a list of Peugeot diagnostic owners around the u.k. and Ireland....:)

Thanks, I will check that out. Is there anyway to update or reflash the firmware on the RD4 as well?

I not sure if the firmware can be updated on the RD4...i know it can be done on th Rt3 unit.
Maybe ask your local dealer if they can download the latest software onto your Rd4 via your vin number....Get them to quote a price on same..:)
