    Well lads ive seen alot of lads fishing on the slaney over the last few days I don't fish it myself but I do fish one of its tributaries and I was wandering is there any trout being caught yet or what's the story I've heard alot about the salmon this year but nothing about the trout yet

    very very few trout and all small however a huge amount of salmon in river compared to last few years best year ive seen in approx. 15 years

    i think its the worst run of sea trout for the time of year i have ever seen
