I went to it over a year ago or so. Neil Sisson (shad0r) was there, he's an old school boardsie.
It seemed primarily a non-techie - well, non-developer - group. Good folks though, and good to chat to people about all the different uses of WordPress that people were using it for.
I've only been to one though, and it was a long time ago, so it may be very different now
