Wanted: Rear wheel for turbo use...

    Hi there,
    As the title suggests, I'm looking for a cheap rear wheel that I can use for turbo use only. Tyre not necessary, but it must have some sort of a cassette.

    What speed cassette? 9 or 10?

    I have a Mavic Aksium rear wheel not being used but with a 9 speed cassette. I'd let it go sans cassette for 25euro if you can collect. It has alot of miles but still true. Still leaves you without a cassette though.

    Ill take the wheel if the OP doesnt want it. Where are you based? I have some spares I could trade for it, a stem, or seatpost, pedals. Keep meaning to sell them off.

    LOL, I thought you were the OP, never double checked the names. I'll let Sauve come back first, if he is not interested, then it is yours.

    Based in South Dublin/Goatstown.

    If Suave wants the cassette, then I'd let wheel +cassette for 35 or sans cassette for 25euro.

    CramCycle I'll take that with cassette please - mine's a 9 speed. I'm from Sligo but will be in Dublin this weekend.

    I have a 36h 105 hub on Open Pro but with no cassette. Lot of miles on it but in everyday use twice a day. Its running a bit rough but if you were really keen you could probably dismantle and grease/replace bearings. Its true though and all the spokes are tight..I have ordered a similiar wheel on Ultegra so as soon as that comes in it will be available. Say €30??

    South Dublin or Santry if you want to have a look..

    Busted a rear Aksium this week so stuck for a back wheel. Interested in this if OP isn't. Can meet Santry whenever suits.
