I have been traveling in South America since September and had travel insurance with usit. I didnt renew it on time so now im uninsured and they wont let met take out new coverage with them. I started comparing different companies online and most require that you have not already started your trip.

I have no pre exisiting medical conditions or other special requirments. I need insurance for another 2 months. Does anyone have advice on getting insurance while you are in the middle of a trip?

    Thanks

Look up world nomads travel insurance. They come recommended by lonely planet and I think you can start it when you are abroad! :)

yeah... think nomads is the only ins co that will insure u while you are out of country of residence .... had to to it a couple of years ago for my son. was expensive though... most travel ins companies only cover you for a max of 30 days in one trip unless yous specify at the time how long yr trip is...
