kitchen tap leaking at spindle - repair or replace

    Tap leaking when opened where it rotates to go from half bowl to full bowl. (up to 360 degrees I suppose but only moved 70 degrees normally)

    Was in house when moved in. Was originally very stiff. Also is a bit top heavy and seems cheap.

    If I wanted a solid franke (like I had in last house) or equivalent where would I buy for reasonable price?

    what part of the country are ya.

    if you can get the o ring to fit it can be fixed but iv had mixed results
