I was out west for the last few days and picked this up off an adverts user,
Topissedtotwist is his name and hes a total gent.
Has 25 cabs too but unfortunately I didnt get to see them.
    2013-06-25+18.18.02.jpg

Its a 13" poker monitor with "some" screen burn!
perfecting for learning a bit more about crts.
The screen burn is fairly savage but it'll do

I have a brand new jamma loom and jamma powersupply and the usual few buttons and sticks lying around so the plan is to get it going and then make a bartop with a 19-1 vert pcb or something like that.

He said it works perfectly but theres no remote board with it.
there is this slot on the chassis.

Sorry for the ****ty pics but theres 9 options (bright, contrast etc)
and theres 18 pins so it looks like there's supposed to be 9 pots on the remote board. Any idea what values these pots could be?
so I could make a new one.

And the other input for the monitor looks like this
    (again sorry for the quality)
    2013-06-25+18.15.59.jpg

Ive got RGB ES And 6 pins
All I know is that theres one wire for RG and B
    What E (ground/common)
    And Is sync yeah?

Thats 5 pins what about the 6th!?
I've done no research on this yet so if any body has any answers it'd be a great help!
    Thanks
    Dave

    R,G,B,Ground, Horizontal Sync, Vert Sync
You can join the Horizontal/Vertical Sync together

First is to do a bit of research on where the high voltage bits are and how to discharge it correctly. Don't mean to sound like a dick but this stuff can be dangerous.

Have you got the model number of the chassis ?

    Cheers Cathal,
I've discharged A few before so I know the craic.

only number on the chassis is SW-777
    and this label 2013-06-25+19.55.05.jpg

quick google doesn't give a hole lot

Nope, never heard of him or Entech till 10 minutes ago.

No harm is asking for a service manual for it. Sure, the worst he can do is ignore you..

I'd imagine the RGB ES stands for red, green, blue, earth, sync with the spare pin between E and C being not connected
I don't know how the monitor will react without the remote board seeing as there is no pots on it though

i dont think it'll react well at all.
I emailed our friend andy anyway for the ****s and giggles.
I'll ask over on Jamma+ too
Its out of a joker poker machine

Looks like my old friend Jeff is selling larger Entech chassis!
I might be in look as it seems to have the same remote board

Those often have pretty bad screen burn, how does yours look?

I would try find out the values from the service manual if available or someone with the same monitor/remote board and just buy the pots and solder them to those markings on the board.
looks straight forward enough and would only cost you a fiver

Yeah I'd do this if I could find a value.
I'm going to get a few bits off Mitch on Friday so maybe I'll be lucky.

Just looking at the first picture in the thread :) I can see
    'CREDIT'
    &
    '0000'

theres also 5 cards across the screen you can clearly make out the numbers and suits!
Its personally the worst screen burn I've ever seen,
    But hay!

So I've kinda given up on this monitor unless I hear from the guy I got it off and he has the remote board.

So I went up to Mich today and he kindly gave me 2 more 14" poker monitors!
Screens burnt to **** but all the parts are there.

Hooked the first one up and its working perfectly.
Deffo going to get to work on a jamma bar top with rotatable screen!

    Thanks again Mitch,
sorry I had to split so fast.
By the way thats an amazing collection of stuff you have!
    (if a little messy ;))
