Call of Duty 4 - Your Favourite maps?

I was revisiting COD4 over the weekend and it struck me that, in my personal opinion, the map designs in COD4 is leaps and bounds better than later iterations of the Call of Duty series.

So I ask you, what are your favourite maps and why?

I love Overgrown. I love taking the chance at the bridge to outsnipe someone. I love the divide in the map overall and the haystack that looks over the wooden bridge.

Crash, can't beat that. Lots of glitches, you can pretty much get anywhere in the map. Such a great layout, playing S&D is great because smokes actually count for something.

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Crossfire, Ambush, and Crash (and Winter Crash is just silly :P). Was never too fond of Overgrown, but it's not that bad a map.

On the other hand, I hate Countdown, Shipment, and Wet Work.

Some games on PS3 version of COD 4 are hacked to bits, on Shipment I jumped up and ended out of map, on Bloc the other day it was the weirdest ever game I played, but I absolutely love playing old School free for all, it's really amazing just Gun v Gun :-D

Vacant with a shotgun. Strike with an M16 and red dot. It was a simpler time then.

Some of the hacks are fun though, ground war domination on shipment is absolute hilarity. for me COD4 and MW2 have the best map design of all the COD games, Overgrown, Highrise, Favela, Terminal, Strike, Crossfire, Afghan, Scrapyard, Skidrow, all brilliant maps imo.

Cant think of the name of it but its just the map with a few containers in a yard. So simple but great fun. Hate the hacks on cod4 though

By far the best map selection of any of the COD games. Love all the maps but for a couple including the DLC ones. Even the ones that do not work well with certain gametypes, work well with other maps. Creek and S&D spring to mind as perfect example of this.

Wetwork (x3 grenade hell) is the only one I really was all too keen on, perhaps Downpour as well.
