Is there anyway to buy digital episodes of a TV show in Ireland?

I know we can stream with services like Netflix, 4od, Youtube and the RTE Player but is there actually any legal way to buy digital episodes? I'd like to know if there's somewhere I could buy digital files of a tv show like you can on the Itunes store for movies or tv shows if you live in any other country of the world.

If you sign up to an iTunes account in a country's store that sells TV shows (US is best imo, but UK has some too), and then use vouchers from that country's store you can buy the TV shows legally. You are technically breaking Apple's T&Cs, but there is nothing illegal about doing that, it just means they can close your account if they realise what you are doing, so don't keep too big of a balance in your account. Any TV shows/movies downloaded won't be deleted even if they close your account, but you won't be able to re-download them if you should lose them for some reason.

Thanks for the response Johnmb but that sounds like an awful lot of hassle. I was just hoping that I might have missed something. I might just stick to DVDs even though I think they are a pain in the arse.

I don't understand why these companies make it so difficult to legally purchase content it's like they are actively encouraging piracy.

buy yourself an amazon giftcard for $2.00 and try buying an episode.

I've tried buying music before and it blocks you due to regional restrictions.
