What are my options?

    Hi,

So here's my situation. I'm in second year science in Maynooth, but for the second time I have failed my exams. I have come to the conclusion that the course probably isn't for me, as I've had 3 goes at these exams now to no avail.

I do want to continue in education however, I have little work experience so getting employed will be impossible. So what I'm wondering is, what are my options? Do I have to wait until next year to reapply to the cao if I want to start a new university course? Is a plc my only option for starting in september? Are there any other avenues to go down?

    Thanks
