    Hi folks,

I'm wondering how the signal is around Letterkenny and Buncrana for mobile broadband and calls/text with 3 mobile. I know their coverage map says I should be grand, but real use never quite lines up with the maps.

If anyone is with 3 up around these parts and could fill me in, it would be appreciated!

    Cheers

I'm a 3 member and live in Letterkenny. Haven't had any serious issues with coverage bar the usual drop here and there.

Buncrana area not sure i'm never really around there but Rathmullen across the water gets decent coverage so i'd assume its the same.

They also have the deal with Vodafone to use their network

What kind of download speeds would you get over 3g?

I'm a bit outside Buncrana, but fairly close to the mast, and this is my speed at the minute. Not Bad as mobile broadband goes at this time of the evening I suppose. Speeds can be as high as 8 or 9 Mb for me a good bit of the time.

I was wondering if there is adequate coverage for three mobile dongle signals in the Clonmany / Ballyliffin area. I will be visiting the Ballyliffin / Clonmany area again soon and need to be connected to a laptop for work.
