Trying to take Sky + box out of Standby - Help!!!

    Ok, so my two and four year old have hidden the remote. I think one of them thinks hes Jesse Eisenberg out of that new magic movie, but we really have turned the house upside down, but its nowhere to be seen. The house is ridiculously tidy, due to my beloved wife and we spent two hours, using chocolate buttons as bribes trying to find it.

    but to no avail.

    so I have sky + remote record and was switching the channels last night with the ipad, cool, no problems.

    but i couldnt turn it off last night and it obviously went into standby and this morning I couldnt turn it on.

    the button on the actual box, for some reason doesnt work. I have also tried to reprogram my onkyo remote, but that didnt work either.

    Anyone know any workarounds??
