Does anyone know of any rules excluding me from employing a close relative on the Jobbridge scheme. I am a one man business at the moment and need some help. I would need someone who i can trust completely so that i can get some time off for hospital visits etc. A few of my relatives are on JSB or JSA and are interested in working with me with a view to a full time position.

Against the rules? Probably. But so is half the ****e on their own f**king site. From shop keepers to needing 5 years managers experience, so that you can "experience" being a manager of fully paid people in a shop.

I'd say once you don't share the same name, they may only care when someone grasses you out. May.

I have one relative in mind for the position but they do have the same surname as me, so do you think it may be a problem ?

One of the requirements for jobsbridge is that you need to have at least one employee already, from the information you have provided you do not meet this requirement.
