When do you stop learning the important stuff?

    There's the classic feeling "oh my god, I did that last year?".. But I haven't that in a while so figured I was fairly sorted. But this evening, I learned another lesson that made me feel like a teenager again. Nothing serious, just me being blind to an arsehole for a long time.

    Anyways, as I say, nothing serious happened. Home fine. Just feel like an idiot for not knowing better. Can't wait till I can really call myself a man and be confident I know what's what. Just don't know when that'll be.

    A day that you don't learn something important is a day wasted.

    You never stop learning in life, even if its the smallest thing, its still learning!
    Even if you feel like your not, look at yourself the day/weekk/month/year before and methinks youll see at least one major difference :)

    I always considered being a man as not someone who could legally drink but someone who had a set mentality, a way of looking at the world. Guess it'll be a long time!

    You never stop, but the important stuff changes as you get older.

    As a young boy was helping a handy man on the farm "probably hindering in hindsight" ye use always call me a "gossan" so i asked him at what age would i be a man and his answer was "when you could pay your own bills, look after yourself, and fix your own mess's" was prob only 10 at the time but it always stuck with me!!

    Not really the angle I was going for.. Maybe "not being impressionable" is a better way of putting it.

    Everyone will always fuk up at some point.. It's my friend that fuked up but I should have seen it coming a long time ago. Thus, the thread.

    The issues and 'big ticket' items that seem so important in your early 20's start to become increasingly irrelevant. You find an acceptance of your limitations. People realise that while they cannot change the world; they can contribute in a lovely and meaningful way to people that are important to them.

    That's learning.

    Intelligence can be measure by how much you know you don't know.

    A = **** you know
    B = **** you know you don't know
    C = **** you don't know you don't know.

    The more **** in (A) the more connected **** will be in (B).

    Remember seeing this **** in a pie chart before but cant find it.

    example:

    I say the words mycelium network in relation to the growth and communication of mushrooms. You probably haven't a clue what i am on about and it certainly isn't **** you know but it is now **** you know you don't know.

    It is hard find out about **** you don't know you don't know but is easy find out about **** you know you don't know.

    Am i making sense or am i just talking ****?
