    Hi
We have a problem with rats in an apartment. We have contacted management agent / management company who have got people on the case. However, just wondering if there is any point contacting HSE and the local authority as well. It is a health issue so just wondering if anyone has any advice?

    Thanks.

How long ago did you contact the management company? Give them a chance to sort the problem first.

Have they made any obvious effort to resolve the problem?

There should be an immediate response to any complaint of rodents. Any good management company will have a system in place where their premises are inspected a few times each year by a vermin control company and if there are any signs of vermin appropriate action is to be taken
