    Hey guy,

I have to have my CAO done by 1st of july and so far i have Gno agus Gaeilge down as 2nd.

    Whats the course like?
I went to an Irish primary but an English secondary school, i studied honours irish for LC and im quite fluent BUT have lost some of my irish over the years, Would this be a problem?
Is there much Business involved in the course? Or is it mostly Irish?
Job prospects? Is it hard to get a job after this course, i Love the irish lanuage but im afraid by the time a finish the lanuage might be dead :/
Is there an option to teach after this course in Secondary schools, like have irish and business a your 2subjects and do a H-Dip??

Thanks in advance! Sorry for all the questions :P

The course is very much split into 2 aspects, the Irish language and business - but all of which is taught through Irish.
A good command of Irish is fluency is not essential. There are not many people who undertake this course who have been in Irish language education their whole lives, so I would not worry so long as you have a good standard of LC Irish.
Job prospects are quite good in the business world, remember you'll have a degree which is as recognised as any other business/commerce degree in the country. As well as this, the third year of the degree is a 12 month intra placement, generally done through English in some of the biggest businesses in the country - a lot of students get their foot in the door for a job after their degree! Also, you can use Irish and business in the Hdip!
