    HI All
    Does anyone know were you can buy the eircom box that goes on the all for broadband and phone is plugged in to , mind is damaged ?, asked an eircom staff member and he said all gear inside the house is up to the owner to replace ?.
    any help would be great

    Eircom are obliged to cover up to and including the MDP. The MDP may not necessarily be the socket itself though, depending on the setup.

    What's the damage? Any pictures? Generic sockets are fairly easy to replace if you're so inclined, if it's the case that eircom would charge you in your situation.

    It was hit when we where moving a unit which toppled over and came down in it !!!!!. Couple if Cm either way would have missed it .would a good shop brought socket do ?

    Is this the telephone socket from Eircom?
    Just replace it with one from a supermarket.
    Red/Green or the two bottom screw down connectors.
