Hi, I started a trial position with a job last week and a temporary contract might be offered to me if I pass an assessment which will take place later this week/early next.

I'm currently on JSA and as I'm not guaranteed the job I was wondering do I have to let the Social Welfare know about the trial?

If I do get the contract then I won't be paid until the end of next month so can I continue to receive money from the Social Welfare until then?

Any help would be much appreciated as I'm unsure of where I stand at the moment.

You should inform the welfare office about this a.s.a.p or you could land yourself in big trouble
