    Hi,

Im looking for some help. My 16 year old daughter is doing a 2 day course in NUIM tomorrow and wednesday.

I know there is a bus (66 i think), she can get from the quays in Dublin out to Maynooth. What im trying to find out is where does the bus stop in Maynooth and is it far from the college. If she gets the 7.40 bus, roughly how long does the bus take? She'll be on her own so im trying to work out the directions for her. Will it take her long to walk it?

Are where would she get the bus home from??

Sorry for all the questions i just dont want to get 20 phonecalls from her when im in work saying shes lost!

Thanks so much for any help you can give

If getting the train is an option it might be a better one.
Depending on which college she is going to the walk is about 10-15 minutes.

The 66 will stop on the main street and it's about a 10-15 min walk depending which campus she has to go to. Bus takes roughly 40-50 mins. To get the bus back there's another bus stop across the street from where she would have gotten off of the morning bus that serves the 66 etc into Dublin

If she gets the 66, she walks straight down mainstreet, turns right at the crossroads towards Dunnes. Cross to the side with Dunnes on it and follow that road around to the left past the shopping centre. She walks straight down to the traffic lights, crosses the road and follows the path to the centre of the campus. If she follows that diagonal path through campus, she will be brought straight to the John Hume/Arts Block square, which is probably very close to where she needs to be.
If she gets the 67, she gets off the bus, turns left down towards the main street, left at the traffic lights onto the main street and then follow the directions as above.
If she gets the train, she crosses the bridge, walks along the canal to the crossroads at the roost, then straight through at the traffic lights (she will see Dunnes from here) and then follow the directions from there.

    Hope this helps!
