low pressure in shower

    Hi,

I have a low pressure in my shower.
tried different head and pipe thing and still low pressure.
the tap is one of those mixer things, were you pull up the valve and then water goes into shower.
the pressure out of taps when valve is that way is great but when it goes to shower its rubbish.
its a new tap so it cant be limescale build up or anything.
if i dont have anything connected and i pull the valve water comes flying out but i dont know if that pressure is ok or not.

so its either the shower heads restricting the pressure or the tap mixer thing i got is useless..

    has anyone seen anything similar?

    Cheers

Bath shower mixers are really only for washing hair, changing the head wont help and you probably bought a bath shower mixer that needs a pump.

so thats a pump in between the mixer and the shower head?
if i could get one of those old school rubber hose things that just goes around the tap then i'd be sorted! :-)

Worth checking the filters. Could be a lump of sealant blocking one side
