I got access to this today - if you click on Options and go "Configure Inbox" - tick all the boxes and click ok it should appear.

Not quite sure what to make of it yet but I hope it works well. Seems to do a decent job of categorising them so far.

My work Gmail will be a lot harder to manage this way though.

    What do you guys think?

Just enabled it there, looks good, 95% of my mails went to the right folders, the ones that didn't asked if that's where I wanted them from now on as soon as I moved them. I think most of anything Google does usually works great

I have to say that a week in and I'm really liking it. Keeps my main inbox totally free from clutter and only emails from friends etc appear there. The majority of my inbox is usually social, forums and updates which are less important - so it works really well to keep the important stuff all in one view. Fair play Gmail.

Only thing I might think is that this is going to make email marketing less effective. I find myself way less likely to open emails and promotions from companies etc now. A lot of comanies really rely on email marketing - this could have an impact.

I can't fault them on it either :) Finding the same as you, Priority inbox is way cleaner than it has ever been, and any mails that go to the wrong folder are really easy to correct with just dragging and dropping. One thing I would really like is if you could customize/make your own labels for the tabs.
