    6:50 Thirsk - Gunboat

Very well bred (Danehill Dancer - Ramruma) and his 3 runs in Dubai are almost too bad to be true. Looks thrown in off a mark of 50 on debut for Ed Dunlop, stepped up to 12f. Will likely either finish stone last or win doing cartwheels, I'm willing to take the chance at 9/2 that it'll be the latter.

Could be a good shout, well spotted.

Has there been any money for it at all yet?

was 13/2 with Bet365 this morning which I missed, backed from 9/2 generally into 3/1 & 7/2, and only drifted back out half a point on average when alot of money came for Petrol. (9/2 into 11/4)

won off 95 this time last year, then placed twice running off 106, back down to a mark of 95 again, so looks like they've been waiting for today to pull a coup.

Backing based on breeding as opposed to form is a way to the poor house. Hard to say that he would be thrown in off 50 when he has zero form, he has that rating for a reason

Lads im all over those picks.

Decent money down for both of them, both look like serious plot jobs.

Denis Hogan is the biggest plotter going. Always bottom of handicap horses keep an eye out for

Maybe he's doing the trick he did last year. Bad performance tonight then limerick at the weekend?

Maybe he's pulling the trigger earlier this year. Trip is the give away and the money. No reason why he couldn't then go to limerick next week and win again
