How are things going now for finance professionals? I've heard that a lot of companies have already done most of their scaling back and that new recruitment in broadly flat? But relative to other industries I'd be interested to know how it's going overall and where the vacancies mainly are?

More boyant than most sectors I'd say. But, it'll vary depending whether part q, qualified, level of experience, post Qual exp. Various sector experience and how far you are willing to commute.
