decrypting files

    I have a couple folders I played with BitLocker encryption on when I was running Win 7 Ultimate. When I upgraded to Windows 8 (some use the term loosely, but hey) I became aware I didn't do anything with the maintenance of these files other than move them to another partition.

    Im pretty sure I know the passphrase I used to encrypt them, but how do I go about this? Not as simple as unchecking the encryption in their properties and hoping a prompt would apparate
