    I. have suckler calves 4 to5 months old all in good condition and thriving well but have started coughing a bit for the last few days, could it just be the changeable weather or something more sinister?

Do them with a pour-on like Noromectin or similar injection.

Ivomec super is for fluke aswell its unlikely that they have so you are paying extra but getting no benifit. Ivomec will do fine.

Or any of the generics will do exactly the same job as ivomec for less money. animec, bimectin ect.

3, 8, 13 weeks after turnout, as recommended with ivermectin products.
That gets them through the main grazing season up to early September or so.
Then one or two white or clear drenches in the period leading up to weaning.

That's the routine I usually follow, and it usually works very welll.

Didn't seem to work too well last year. The constant wet just seemed to keep calves under pressure all year. Coughing more than usual and underperformed thrive and growth wise.

All mine, got heavy pneumonia, about a month after weaning. It was a real set back to them.

So far this year, hardly a cough from a calf, and due second dose next weekend. Calves also thriving much better than last year.
