Seems like great value. Does it include delivery?

FYI I went to Time site to try and check and by just clicking on the normal subscribe link I was offered 80 issues for € 50 (62c each vs 57c on your offer, so not quite as good) including Encyclopedia Brittania Delux on DVD, although I guess that may be worth nothing given the existence of Wikipedia and Google!

I've never read Time before. Is it worth getting?

Is this offer only for the print version or can it be used for the iPad magazine too? Is the subscription the same?

Great deal, but I wonder do they get up to the same carry on as National Geographic, flogging your contact details to all and sundry.

Anyone get this? I ordered this morning at about 9am and haven't received any email confirm and I can't see the transaction in my "pending transactions" in my banking online.... Are they just slow?

I subscribed in the past. The magazine is not great, very much orientated to American news only, would not be comparable to Economist in any way ( I realise Economist subscription is a lot more expensive circa €120 pa)

Did not get the watch so can't comment on that

Also I don't believe it includes the iPad subscription however I may be corrected on this

In short I would not recommend

Had no issue either with mailing list junk like what can happen with National Geographic

I would recommend, I would call it "world focused" which means Ireland doesn't feature much. Be aware if you pay by credit card they'll probably trap you in to an "automatic renewal" scheme. It is simple to contact their customer service and have this changed so that instead it will expire. They will send you renewal notices up to 6 months away which you should ignore until they give you a similar offer to this. At that point, write them a check if you can.

It is, yank centric democratic propaganda is all it is, I was subscribed to it for two years. And I say that as someone who is not right wing in the slightest, I just got fed up of being told about the world according to a slightly liberal yank

I love time magazine, I subscribed a few years ago and they send me on an offer like this every few months, finally decided to subscribe again as I wanted to read it on my iPad and they won't let you subscribe to the digital only edition you have to buy each magazine for like €4 a pop so I said feck it and subscribed. I downloaded the time app and they make you sign in and then you can download any edition.

Yes it is very U.S. oriented but I have in Internet in U.S. politics so that suits me just fine, but there is a lot more to it than just that. They have had great coverage on the Syrian war for example, plus when you get the digital edition you digital exclusives, extra articles that aren't included in the print edition. I found someone to take the print editions that are delivered every week off my hands, otherwise they would just be going in the recycling bin.

I was just offered free online access to TIME magazine along side my print subscription for FREE. Pretty good! Includes iPad app etc. If the offer is still there, grab it!

How did the offer come? e-mail? with magazine?

I purchased the print subscription offer also however I'm still waiting for my first magazine to arrive.

I got this - very good value.

Yes, I concede that it is a bit yank centred - but is a little left of centre (politically) than other US news mags. You just have to take this into account when reading, just as you would do with anything else.

So you get your mags for a year, a reasonably good watch, and access to the downloadable ipad version for €30

    Not bad IMHO

can i ask, how long after you subscribed did the watch come?
    thanks.

    Will.

    About 3 weeks.

The watch looks good quality but the strap is a smidge tight.

i thought the watch looked pretty cheap and was expecting more off it. I do like the subscription and the free ipad subscription that came with it. So good value for money

Time doesn't really hide the fact that it is liberal, I've read a few pieces that tear into "left wing" arguments that lack evidence, exactly because they expect that of conservative, right wing politics/economics etc., it expects better from the liberal side. Unlike other publications and news organisations it doesn't pretend that it is impartial, indeed Time was always considered liberal and the now defunct Newsweek conservative.
