    Howya folks.

    Hired a car for a spanish trip shortly and I think I have everything covered. Gonna post the terms and conditions here. Please feel free to tell me of any bogeys in this.

    2 named drivers in their 40s with full licences for years. Its an 8 seater people carrier job.

    This tariff includes:

    .Unlimited mileage.

    .Local taxes (IGIC or VAT)

    .Free airport service.

    .Second driver free.

    .Baby seat and booster seats included.

    .Free bookings amendment and cancellation.

    .Fully comprehensive insurance with no excess. It is included: personal accident

    cover –PAI-, collision damage waiver –CDW-, Total coverage in case of the theft of the car –TP-.

    (Just for premium cars: Mercedes class “C”, Audi A3, A5 cabriolet, Mercedes GLK, Etc, there
    is an excess: 300,00 euros).

    Payment must be by card. It can be a debit one. Cash is not allowed.

    This tariff does not include:

    .It is forbidden to drive the vehicle off asphalted roads or in forbidden or dangerous areas (such
    as sand roads, beaches, mountains, etc).

    .Damage to wheels (rims) and tyres. (tires have been punctured are included in the insurance).

    .Lost the keys dame or deteriorate the key or the remote control.

    .Damage caused by filling the tank with the wrong fuel (.Inadequate refuelling.).

    .Accident or damages caused by inadequate (dangerous) driving or under the influence of
    alcohol or other substances.

    .Any traffic fines.

    .The charges of any possible law intervention because of any traffic violation. Traffic fines are
    the responsibility of the clients.

    .PLUS CAR are not liable for personal belongings inside the car.

    .It is Forbidden to transport any object on the vehicle (Luggage, Surfboards, Hang gliders, ..)

    .it is forbidden to put surfboards, hang gliders, etc on top of the car.

    *The minimum age to rent a vehicle is 23 years old and 1 year experience. (except higher
    groups vehicles where the minimum age 25 years is requires an 2 years experience).

    *The client returns the vehicle with the same fuel as collected.(It is not necessary a deposit of
    money for petrol).

    *The vehicle is only to be driven by persons as named on contract.

    *The vehicle is not to be transferred between islands without the permission of PLUS CAR.

    *The driving license must be valid for driving in Europe with a minimum of 1 year of driving
    experience.

    *Return car with same fuel level as when collected (NO fuel deposit is charged)

    Looks excellent to me, is it for the Canaries?

    If you got the deal through a broker, make sure the terms you get when you pick up the car are the same. They might try to sell you extra insurance (seems you don't need it) or the fuel policy might be different...

    Its for Tenerife.

    It appears they dont have an office in the airport so meet you outside. Pluscar tenerife.

    As mentioned, I think its covered but then I hear adverts for car excess insurance. I dont think I need it - do I?

    You don't need it.

    I'm using Auto Reisen in Tenerife, they are even cheaper, although probably have older cars. And no 8 seater option.
