diesel injector noise

Its a 2008 Renault trafic m9r

Thought a injector seal was leaking as theres a ticking type noise. After getting that balls of a cover off theres no marks of a leaking injector. All clamps seem tight. But I def think theres a noise off injector 2.

You can hear it on tickover. Probably still there but as you rev you wouldn't notice it. Rolling down hills at speed, no acceleration you can hear it. Warmer it is the more obvious it is. Is a touch down on mpg and power

Any ideas.

Spray some WD40 or similar around the suspect injector with the engine running and you will soon see if it is leaking or not.

Could be leaking just not long enough or leaking enough to throw black ****e round it

Used 3in1 oil very hard to see but I cant see blowing

If it was leaking you would see it spitting when spraying around it with the engine running.

Cant see that. Do the solenoids go funny and the injector not work great

Someone suggested the injector is just noisy but could be ok. Could be the maf at fault. Bad maf readings leading to bad economy.
