Adding someone extra to an apartment ?

So a few months ago, 4 of my friends and I booked a holiday in Portugal.
We booked the flights through ryanair and the accommodation through alpharooms.
The holiday is in 10 days and now another person wants to come.
We booked an apartment for 5 people.

Would it be possible for the 6th person who now wants to come to stay in our apartment even if they were just to share a bed or sleep on the floor ?

Or would anyone know is there a possibility of adding him into the room?
This is our first holiday away together and I know it's very last minute.

Any help/knowledge on this would be hugely appreciated

    Talk to the property owner.

My OH is just such an apartment owner and takes a very dim view of additional people being "smuggled" into her property, but will always come to an arrangement with someone who asks nicely.

Cleaning people, maintenance people and similar are almost always in direct contact with the owner.

Agree but tbh it could be extremely tight. Is it two doubles sharing beds & I person on the couch. If the appartment is small or has kitchen-living room shared will that mean the sixth is sleeping on the floor alongside the couch, or on the floor of the kitchen without a mattress etc.

Did you see pics of the appartment ?
Might be better to try & change to a bigger one if it looks tiny !!

Don't smuggle in an extra person. If the complex has a security guard, or a night porter (a lot of places do) you'll get caught out and risk either being thrown out or fined heavily. Just contact the property and try to come to some arrangement. You don't want to spoil your holiday by worrying about sneaking in and out or being caught out.

    Thanks for the replies,
I contacted alpharooms.com to see if they could help but they are unable to make any changes, all changes have to be made 14 days before arrival.
I rang up the place where we are staying and they just said no, not possible.

Unfortunately looks like he cant come :(
