Anyone using Wobble Bolts?

Hey guys, got a new to me car recently and I'd like to get alloys. I can't really afford new ones so it will be a clean 2nd hand set. Going 2nd hand is cutting my choice a bit as there's a lot of OEM wheels or ridiculous 19" wheels out there.

So I'm looking at other model alloys. I have a Vectra C and it's 5x110.
From a bit of Googling I've found that wobble bolts will go about 2mm either side of that. 5x108 & 5x112.

I know proper sized spigot rings are a must.
What I want to know is are they actually safe to use or can they get loose?
Can any problems arise with using them?

Spigot rings go on the centre bore of the wheel.
Wobble bolts are grand, lads with fiats use them a lot.

i discovered (while searching for wheels for my vectra c) that a lot of modern saabs are 5x110 and imo saab have a lot of nice alloys wheels on offer if you are looking down the second hand route, just change the center caps.

Yes I know where spigot rings go.

Yes, Saab have some lovely wheels but are rare to get nice ones like the Saab Alu 50 or similar. It's very annoying looking for alloys on DoneDeal. 9 out of every 10 ads are for VAG fitments from the RS4GTTDI crews. Most of which are reps!

Don't you miss the simpler days when you had the choice of TSW Stealth or Blade lol

BW's Punto has a full set of wobble bolts, even though I sold it woth Brava wheels, just if he ever wanted to ditch them and put on other wheels. Having said that we used then for a while with 100+ wheels, no problems with loosening etc.

Can't emphasise a proper set of spigot rings enough
