Plc course and grants?

    Hi folks, my 18 year old is heading back to school in August to do a PLC course. Im like a fish out of water here tying to figure out is he entitled to a grant or not! So im a working single parent 26 hours and getting reduced OPFA for younger son. Is my eldest able to apply for a grant as school fees are 150 and course fees are 250. He has a medical card, has sent out CV's but to no avail as of yet. He has not applied for Social Welfare as he has to wait 3 months i think before applying. Can anyone advise please? Thanks!
